Yul Brynner, The King and I
Hello, young readers, whoever you are, Or if you’re old, or almost. All my good pages go with you tonight, Just click this link I host.
John Grisham
I don’t claim to be the King of Siam, much less of Mysteries, and neither do any of the others in this list of authors; that honor goes to John Grisham, in my book (as it were). But there are some excellent reads – the sixth one down, for example, MURDER IN PALM BEACH: The Homicide That Never Died. I really like that book – and my bias has nothing to do with the fact that I wrote it.
Look … the lazy days of summer are almost over, and it’s time to hunker down and tend to business.
Nat King Cole
Roll up those lazy, crazy days of summer Those days of soda and pretzels and beer Roll up those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer Turn off the sun and moon and shed a doleful tear.
With paraphrastic (I swear, that’s a word) apologies to Nat King Cole … what a depressing thought. You need an escape. And diving into a scary, suspenseful, action-packed mystery or crime novel is just the ticket to drive away the melancholy and inspire you with renewed vigor to meet those gray-zy, bluesy, dreary days of autumn and winter.
Here again is your ticket: http://bit.ly/2Q1RBvm Just click it – and enjoy.
